Matthew Berrafato has been speaking professionally for more than
15 years, during which time he has been presented as a keynote
speaker, workshop leader and seminar facilitator. He is the author of
the book "Elephant Hunting" published by Hunter Press. He is currently
working on a new book that will be co-authored with his personal physician
Dr. Mark Levy titled "Take Charge of Your Own Health and Well-Being" - It's Your Personal Health Care Crisis". This important work will
offer individuals how to get healthy and stay healthy. He has consulted
nationally with sales organizations as well as individuals in the areas of
goal setting and time management.
Matthew is a partner with Wayne Messmer in the Chicago-based
Messmer/Berrafato Consulting Group, whose principal business
property is the acclaimed "Elephant Hunting" workshop. In the role
of "The Elephant Hunter" he shares this unique and exciting concept,
empowering people to identify their life's passion while charting a course
to begin moving closer to a healthy life balance and the realization of their
dreams.
Berrafato has been an insurance professional for over 30 years, the last 15
of which he has owned his own agency and has served his clients as an
employee benefits and certified wellness coach.
Matthew was Chairman of the Board of the not-for-profit First Step
Foundation, whose purpose is to provide life coaching and counseling to
quadriplegics and paraplegics. He now sits on the Board of Directors for
the Laurus Foundation as well as Community Health Charities.
Matthew is the youth group coordinator for St. Catherine's Parish in
Glenview IL whose mission is to provide a safe environment for teens to
grow in their faith under the gentle guidance of caring adults and their
peers.
Matthew is most proud of his role as the father of three daughters. He,
wife Laura and the girls reside in a northern suburb of Chicago.
